Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, machine operation, and quality control processes. The CNC Operator will work with various equipment including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and utilize CAD and SolidWorks for part design and modifications.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
- Program CNC machines based on blueprints and CAD drawings, ensuring precise specifications are met.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of CNC equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are achieved.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage machine functions and automate processes where applicable.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move raw materials or finished products safely.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects or deviations.
- Assist in assembly, packaging, or other related tasks as needed within the manufacturing environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or press brake machines.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machining processes, welding, hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is desirable but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of quality control procedures to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with mechanical knowledge of machinery operation.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
