Pay: Starting at $18.00–$22.00 per hour (based on experience)
About Us
Wessex Inn is a busy 30-room motel in Cowichan Bay dedicated to providing our guests with clean, comfortable, and welcoming accommodations. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards and delivering excellent guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to company standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels and guest amenities.
- Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize all assigned areas.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns promptly.
- Restock housekeeping carts and supplies.
- Ensure rooms are ready for guest check-in within required timelines.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with laundry duties when required.
- Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with guests.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.
