Title: Sanitation Team Lead (Meat Production & Warehouse)
Payrate: $20
Location: North York
Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of all production areas, equipment, and facility
premises in compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment, floors, walls, drains, tools, and work surfaces
- Follow Sanitation SOPs and Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS)
- Safely disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning
- Avoid water contact with electrical panels, motors, and gas equipment
- Follow GMP, PPE, and hygiene requirements
- Prevent cross-contamination between raw and cooked areas
- Handle chemicals safely and follow proper dilution procedures
- Complete cleaning logs and support pre-operational inspections
- Ensure audit readiness at all times and support QA inspections
- Report hazards, damages, or contamination risks immediately
Requirements:
- Experience in food processing sanitation preferred
- Knowledge of GMP and HACCP practices
- Ability to work in cold and wet environments
- Physically capable of lifting and extended standing
- Flexible to work night shifts

- 100% completion of assigned cleaning tasks
- Zero major food safety violations
- No repeated pre-op failures
- Proper chemical usage with no safety incidents
Pay: $20.00 per hour
