At Healthy Planet, our Store Operations Leader is the cornerstone of store functionality—bridging day-to-day execution with long-term efficiency. In this elevated role, you will lead back-of-house operations, streamline inventory processes, oversee accurate receiving, and drive administrative excellence.
You will collaborate closely with leadership, vendors, and front-line staff to ensure all operational components—from purchase orders to invoicing—support a seamless and impactful in-store experience. This role is ideal for a highly organized, solutions-oriented professional with a passion for structure, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
The typical hiring range for this position is $22 to $22.50. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skill set, internal equity, and organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Inventory Control

Oversee the end-to-end receiving process—verifying deliveries against purchase orders, inspecting goods, and flagging discrepancies

Ensure inventory is accurately logged, dated, rotated, and stocked using established SOPs

Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to support inventory accuracy

Monitor expiration dates, damages, shrinkage, and inventory loss trends; recommend improvements

Collaborate with department leaders to ensure timely restocking and replenishment across store departments

Coordinate DIST001 warehouse transfers and maintain documentation integrity
Store Operations & Process Optimization

Lead store-level administrative functions including back-end documentation, order tracking, and system reporting

Maintain compliance with all standard operating procedures related to receiving, stock handling, and invoicing

Support audit readiness through accurate record keeping and organization
-
Implement systems and improvements to streamline daily operations, reduce redundancies, and support store-wide efficiency
Invoicing & Vendor Coordination

Manage store invoicing workflow—ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and alignment with finance protocols

Coordinate with Head Office Credit and Finance to reconcile discrepancies and oversee credit notes

Track and follow up on purchase orders pending for 7+ days and missing invoices pending for 21+ days

Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors and logistics contacts to ensure prompt deliveries and smooth receiving
Team Leadership & Collaboration

Mentor team members involved in receiving, invoicing, and inventory handling

Train staff on proper receiving procedures, documentation, and loss prevention measures

Foster communication between front-of-house, warehouse, and merchandising teams
Training & Compliance

Completion of required Lessonly training modules

Ongoing participation in workshops and brand education sessions to stay current on wellness trends and company initiatives

Adhere to all operational and health & safety procedures as outlined in company SOPs

Maintain excellent standards in attendance, punctuality, team collaboration, and reliability
Other Duties

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

3-5 years of experience in retail operations, administration, or warehouse coordination
-
Strong working knowledge of inventory systems, purchase orders, invoicing, and receiving procedures

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and time management skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and POS/inventory systems
-
Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments

Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
