Duties
- Prepare and cook traditional tacos with fresh ingredients, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation.
- Serve customers efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service.
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including kitchen surfaces, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Manage food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure continuous service without delays.
Requirements
- Previous experience in serving or food preparation within a restaurant or food service setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques specific to Mexican cuisine or similar culinary styles is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending as required.
