Little Steps Occupational Therapy Solutions is a growing paediatric therapy practice dedicated to supporting children and families across a wide range of needs from infancy through to the transition into adulthood. We are passionate about helping children build the strength, mobility, and confidence needed to thrive in their everyday lives.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Physiotherapist to join our growing team in a casual part-time position.
About the Role:
The Physiotherapist will provide assessment, intervention, and consultation services for children and youth presenting with a variety of gross motor, musculoskeletal, neurological, and developmental needs. This role offers flexibility and opportunities to grow within an expanding paediatric practice.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy through individual and group sessions
- Support development of gross motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, and mobility
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Provide education and strategies to support carryover in home, school, and community settings
- Supervise and support Physiotherapy Assistants (PTAs) as appropriate
- Document assessment findings, treatment progress, and clinical recommendations
- Maintain a positive, child-centred and family-focused environment
Qualifications:
- Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the relevant regulatory body (e.g., College of Physiotherapists of Ontario)
- Experience working with the paediatric population is an asset
- Strong clinical reasoning, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Passion for supporting children and families
