Events, Pop-Ups & Kitchen Support
We are a growing local gourmet foods company based in Langley, BC, and we are looking for on-call and part-time Sales Associates to support our team during pop-ups, trade shows, markets, and busy production periods.
This role is ideal for someone who wants flexible hours, enjoys working events, and is comfortable jumping in where needed — from customer-facing sales to food service and light kitchen support.
Position Details
- On-call / part-time position
- Shifts scheduled based on events, markets, and production needs
- Hours may include weekdays, weekends, early mornings, and occasional longer event days
- Ideal for those looking for flexible or supplemental work
Key Responsibilities
- Support sales at pop-ups, trade shows, markets, and special events
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service and product recommendations
- Process sales using POS systems, cash, and card
- Serve food samples and prepared items following food safety standards
- Assist with event setup, teardown, loading, and unloading
- Provide support with basic kitchen prep, packaging, and organization as needed
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and brand presentation standards
- Assist with restocking and inventory support
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to respond to on-call scheduling
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments
- Able to lift and carry up to 40–50 lbs
- Comfortable working weekends and event-based schedules
- Customer service, food service, retail, or event experience is an asset
- Food Safe certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain)
