Job Overview
We are seeking a licenced, skilled , experienced (2+ years), dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and experience with automotive repair. Must possess a 310S licence or equivalent. Having both a 310S and 310T would be a definite asset.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles and using schematics, technical manuals and specialized diagnostic tools
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and system inspections
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, to complete repairs
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in vehicles, ensuring all systems function correctly
- Assist in the assembly or disassembly of mechanical components for repair or replacement
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors regarding repair needs and timelines
- Maintain detailed records of services performed for each vehicle
Skills
- Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic (2 + years)
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including electrical, hydraulic, and engine components
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical or mechanical systems
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks regularly
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and service advisors about repairs and maintenance needs
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues quickly and efficiently

Pay: $32.00-$42.00 per hour
