Middle Beach Lodge is seeking a warm, adaptable, and hospitality-driven Guest Experience Associate to join our team. We look for individual who is comitted for 6 months term.
This is a unique hybrid role combining responsibilities traditionally associated with both the Front Desk and Food & Beverage teams. Guest Experience Associates play a key role in creating a seamless and welcoming guest experience throughout the property — from arrival and check-in to breakfast service, lounge support, and day-to-day guest interactions across the lodge.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety in their day, thrive in a guest-focused environment, and are passionate about authentic West Coast hospitality.

What You'll do:
Front Desk & Guest Services
- Welcome guests with a warm and professional arrival experience
- Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently
- Answer phones, emails, and guest inquiries
- Provide local recommendations and concierge-style assistance
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts
- Assist with room assignments and operational coordination
- Respond professionally to guest concerns and service recovery situations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of Front Desk and guest-facing spaces
- Support operational duties and end-of-day procedures as required
About You:
- Assist with breakfast and lounge service operations as required
- Welcome and engage guests throughout food and beverage service periods
- Replenish buffet items, beverages, and service stations
- Deliver food items and assist with table service support
- Clear, reset, and maintain cleanliness of dining and lounge areas
- Assist with dishwashing and general cleaning duties
- Support light food preparation and service setup tasks as directed
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stocking of service areas
- Communicate guest dietary restrictions or special requests to the culinary team
- Maintain familiarity with menus, daily features, and property offerings
- Support a calm, welcoming, and attentive guest dining experience
Qualifications & Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or guest service experience
- Food Safe certification considered an asset
- Experience with POS systems and/or hotel reservation systems considered an asset
- Cash handling experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
