Senior Informatica MDM Engineer (IDMC Focus)
Location: Calgary – 5 Days in office
Contract: C2C – 6+ Months
Purpose of the Position:
To work as part of the Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) team with a primary focus on Master Data Management (MDM SaaS). This senior-level position involves designing and developing robust MDM solutions, catering to various business requirements using Informatica’s cloud offerings—including Multidomain MDM, Business 360, Customer 360, Reference 360, Data Integration, and others. The role ensures effective data management across platforms with a high level of architectural and hands-on expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the maintenance, upgrade, and support of secure agents and deployed services, including data quality, governance, and master data management.
- Support business users and data stewards by ensuring that data standards, business rules, and workflows align with MDM best practices.
- Maintain and enhance existing Master Data solutions and integrate them with new systems and initiatives.
- Collaborate on the design, development, and deployment of new MDM projects, including custom functionality and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Analyze cross-functional integration needs and recommend appropriate MDM integration solutions, balancing risk and complexity.
- Monitor data accuracy proactively and lead data correction efforts; establish frameworks to monitor critical data elements.
- Troubleshoot incidents related to job failures, software limitations, and performance issues.
- Create and maintain architectural and technical documentation for developed solutions.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Participate in 24x7 rotational on-call support as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience with Informatica MDM, including 3+ years of experience specifically in MDM SaaS/IDMC and IICS.
- 3+ years of experience in:
- Business 360, Reference 360, Data Quality, Multidomain MDM, Data Integration
- CAI (Cloud Application Integration), CDQ (Cloud Data Quality), CDI (Customer Data Insights)
- Designing UI/UX components, search functionality, and custom pages in Multidomain MDM
- Hosting and consuming APIs in MDM
- Strong understanding of DaaS (Data-as-a-Service) offerings from Informatica.
- Hands-on expertise in developing complex workflows and mappings using standard functions in Informatica tools.
- Proficient in integrating with systems like SAP, Oracle, Azure, and other legacy platforms.
- Solid skills in Java for custom scripts and mapping; advanced SQL capabilities.
- Familiarity with Linux for configuration and maintenance of on-premise VMs.

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $61.62-$100.11 per hour
