Elk Island Public Schools is recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Division 1 Teacher at Westboro Elementary. This position is for a combined grade 1/2 classroom.
Westboro Elementary serves approximately 245 students in kindergarten to Grade 6, with 14 teaching staff and 20 support staff. The school is located in Sherwood Park, AB.
Westboro Elementary is an educational community where people work collaboratively to develop their own, as well as each other's potential. Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education degree
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Effective organization and classroom management skills
- Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience or familiarity analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
