Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques. This role involves working on residential, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and maintaining tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including caulking.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner while adhering to safety standards.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the project.
- Maintain an organized workspace and properly care for tools and equipment.
Skills
- Proficient in painting techniques with experience in residential. reading and schematic interpretation.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of rigging techniques as it pertains to painting projects is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
