We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. If you are passionate about preventive care, patient education, and building lasting relationships with patients while working alongside a collaborative dental team, we would love to meet you.
What You'll Do
As a valued member of our clinical team, you will:
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including periodontal assessments, scaling, root planing, polishing, and preventive treatments.
- Take high-quality digital radiographs while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and personalized home care recommendations.
- Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive therapies as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with our dentists and clinical team to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Tracker dental practice management software.
- Foster a comfortable, positive experience for patients of all ages by delivering compassionate, personalized care.
- Maintain the highest standards of infection prevention, sterilization, and clinical excellence.
- Support the overall success of the practice through effective communication, teamwork, and professionalism.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Current registration and good standing with the appropriate provincial regulatory body.
- Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to evidence-based dental hygiene care.
- Experience with Tracker dental software or the ability to learn new practice management systems quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient-focused approach with the ability to build trust and lasting relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience working with patients of all ages; experience with pediatric care is considered an asset.
- Bilingual communication skills are an asset but not required.
