THE ROLE:
We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled CNC Operator to join our machine shop to perform CNC machining of high quality parts from aluminum, plastics, MDF, and plywood using Axyz CNC router machines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years of experience in CNC machining. - High School or College Education.
- Familiar with various materials machining properties (ACM, Acrylic, PVC, MDF, ...).
- Select and change tools, jaws, and fixtures.
- Must be capable of lifting and handling sheet goods.
- Operate various machines when required.
- Upload/download machine programs as trained.
- Comfortable with imperial or metric dimensioning.
- Skilled with measuring tools.
- Wear appropriate safety equipment at all times.
- Experience with Axyz and A2MC CNC Controls is an asset.
- Experience with Vcarve programming is an asset.
- Must be a team player!
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
This is a full-time position and wage will be negotiated based on skills. Bonuses and raises will be set based on performance. Only candidates with Canadian work permits will be considered.
Pay: $17.92-$31.45 per hour
