At Mr. Sushi, our Kitchen Helpers play an important role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly. You'll assist with food preparation, cleaning, and supporting the kitchen team to ensure every dish is prepared efficiently and to our high standards. Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient prep
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing supplies
- Support cooks and kitchen staff with daily tasks
- Dispose of garbage and recycling, and maintain a clean work environment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, hardworking, and positive attitude
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg)
- Previous kitchen experience is an asset, but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate
