We are a physiotherapy clinic with an excellent, friendly, and supportive work environment, and we are looking for a caring and motivated Physiotherapy Assistant (Part-Time) to join our team. Position Requirements
- Availability to work two full days per week (9:00 AM–5:00 PM).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physiotherapists during patient treatments when needed.
- Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service from arrival to departure.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic's daily calendar.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and respond to patient inquiries.
- Process patient payments and issue receipts.
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims and direct billing.
- Assist with patient registration, intake forms, and clinic documentation.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, data entry, and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Help coordinate communication with insurance companies and healthcare providers when required.
- Assist with daily clinic operations to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment.
- Support the clinical team with other administrative and operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Basic knowledge of anatomy (formal education not required but considered an asset).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, compassionate, and professional attitude.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable using computers and scheduling software (experience with Jane App is an asset).
- Spanish or Portuguese language skills are considered a strong asset.
