Carpenter – Job Description
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Carpenter is required to construct Mini and Modular Homes on site or repair all aspects of building exteriors and interiors and complete service work. Position Responsibilities Accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- General Carpentry skills
- Install various styles of siding including Metal and composite materials
- Utilize hand, power, and pneumatic tools/machines
- Work on residential / commercial sites and follow site safety procedures
- Work in owner occupied buildings with respect to their operations
- Read and follow blueprints
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Participate in site safety
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
- Capable to work in an industrial setting (noisy, uneven surfaces)
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and kneel frequently
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable working in a team setting
- Prior wood framing carpentry experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to travel an asset.
