Site Supervisor
The role of the Site Supervisor is to provide expertise and site management of specific project construction activities while working collaboratively with the Construction Management team in compliance with all relevant Crave Homes policies, procedures and contracts. You are the leading role that assumes full responsibility for daily construction activity.
Activities
· Successfully complete & manage all Crave Homes in house SOW for projects
· Assist your Construction Manager in managing/ supervising sub trades when delegated or CM is not on site
· Complete material take offs for all CH in house SOW
· Document critical job photos and complete daily logs on a daily basis
· Ensure your site is clean and safe on a daily basis
· Weekly mentorship with crew for continual company growth
· Complete all company site checklists assigned to you
· Good knowledge of Jobtread and continue to learn & utilize Jobtread or any other company software
· Document all lessons learned in Jobtread for final project 360 review
· Be prepared for all weekly OP's & team meetings
Authority
· Has authority to make all decisions outlined in your project Charter
· Has authority to purchase material up to $500, company tools up to $1000 with approval by Senior Construction Manager
· Has authority for basic communication with clients and will document any critical info for client request, changes or concerns they may bring up. All client communication to be put in daily logs and emailed directly to your construction manager.
· Has authority to delegate CH employees assigned to your project and send home but no firing authority. All issues regarding CH policies to be brought up with your CM
· Has authority to warn/write up ALL construction workers for any safety violations.
· Has authority to override superior when related to unsafe work or compromising CH quality standards
· Verification steps
Accountability
· Completing all timelines with 90% success rate throughout project that are agreed upon with your management team
· Maximize efficiencies and manage all Crave Homes labour allowances with a 95% success rate.
· Have systems in place for accuracy for material and vendor orders to minimize wastage or schedule delays
· Ensuring your crew is on time, working safely, efficiently and meeting all CH quality standards. Mentor to the best of your ability & give all CH employees the tools to grow within the company.
· To learn and get educated in all skills necessary to move towards a full site supervisor role
· To lead by example & conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times as a CH employee
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
