Responsibilities:
- Always approach, greet and assist any guests who enter the dealership showroom or sales lot in a friendly, professional manner.
- Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking intuitive questions and listening carefully to their responses so you can best understand a customer’s vehicle needs and wants.
- Continuously work to develop product and sales knowledge. Knowing the in’s and out’s of all product offerings, options packages, and the latest technologies.
- Provide professional, high quality demonstrations of both new and used vehicles.
- Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other aspect of the sales process in accordance with company policy.
- Build strong relationships with customers and follow-up to maintain that relationship over the length of customers’ vehicle ownership.
- Complete daily CRM activities and maintain accurate notes in the CRM outlining each customer’s sales status.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Have the ability to easily build and foster relationships with customers based on honesty and integrity.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Outgoing with a friendly personality.
- Ability to work both individually, and as a part of a team with the rest of the dealership staff.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Able to follow and commit to the sales process.
- Ability to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures, with a general understanding of finance.
Additional Qualifications and Notes:
- Valid Alberta Driver’s License
- Driver’s Abstract is required
- Must have, or complete on-site, your AMVIC License
- Full time position – must be available to work weekdays and some weekends
- Commission based pay structure
Experience:
- Previous automotive experience considered an asset
- Customer service/support background: 1 yr
Job Types: Full-time, Commission
Pay: $50,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
