Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, handling heavy equipment, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and reach trucks. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load and unload materials
- Assist with order picking, packing, and packaging to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Manage shipping and receiving processes using warehouse management systems such as AS400
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock organization within the warehouse
- Support warehouse distribution activities by moving materials throughout the facility
- Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and report any mechanical issues
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while working around heavy machinery and during material handling
- Assist in construction-related tasks or projects as needed, utilizing relevant construction experience or mechanical skills
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred, including familiarity with warehouse management systems like AS400
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers
- Mechanical knowledge or background in manufacturing or construction is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout shifts
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution practices and inventory management techniques
- Experience with heavy equipment operation including load & unload procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Construction experience or familiarity with heavy machinery operation is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and order accuracy

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
