POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a professional Sandblaster to join our team. Your role would include sandblasting metal parts, and ensuring all work is done in a safe and timely manner. You will report to the Rubber Supervisor at our flagship location in Langley, B.C. and are expected to work on the dayshift Monday to Thursday 5am-3:30pm
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sandblast all types of parts.
- Maintenance of sandblast equipment.
- Apply primer and bonding agents with brush and roller.
- Paint industrial parts to specifications.
- Meet production targets and timelines on various jobs.
- Operate equipment safely.
- Operate forklift.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Uphold material quality standards.
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have at least two (2) years of paint or sandblasting work experience.
- Must be comfortable working with chemicals and able to follow safe work practices.
- Industrial Sandblasting with SCBA in a dedicated indoor blasting booth.
- Able to operate a Forklift.
- Able to read blueprints and follow written work instructions in English language.
- Positive attitude in a team environment.
- Dependable with strong work ethics.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
