Journeyman Welder

Job Description:
The Welder reports to the Operations Manager and to the President. The Individual can perform a variety of welding functions; they can read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirements. The individual is familiar with and capable of using various types of welding equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to superiors
- Perform all welding duties associated as required
- Interpret and work from engineered blueprints / drawings
- Follow safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions
- Keep current with industry practices and standards
Required Skills:
- Alberta Journeyman of Welding certification
- Forklift certification or the ability to attain
- Confined Space certification or the ability to attain
- Knowledge of TKS / SmartVac welding procedures
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to lift 30lbs
- Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

We operate Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
This is a full-time salary position offering wages based on relevant experience.
