Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kinesiologist to join our team. In this role, you will assess and treat patients using a variety of therapeutic techniques and exercises aimed at improving movement, flexibility, and strength. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will develop customized rehabilitation plans and educate clients on body mechanics and injury prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' physical condition and movement patterns.
- Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation and injury prevention programs.
- Use therapeutic exercises and modalities to address musculoskeletal issues and enhance physical function.
- Educate clients on proper posture, ergonomics, and body mechanics.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists and acupuncturist to provide comprehensive care.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date client records and progress reports.
- Provide guidance on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and wellness practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
- Registered or eligible for registration with BCK Association.
- Proven experience in clinical kinesiology, rehabilitation, or related field.
- Knowledge of human anatomy, biomechanics, and physical rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
