Job Overview
Our client is seeking reliable and safety-focused DZ Drivers to join their team in Stoney Creek. This role involves operating waste collection trucks while providing excellent service to residential and/or commercial customers.
Duties
- Operate waste collection trucks (rear-load, front-load, or side-load)
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Safely collect and transport waste and recycling materials
- Follow assigned routes and schedules
- Communicate with dispatch and supervisors
- Provide professional customer service when interacting with clients
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance
Qualifications
- Valid DZ License (Ontario)
- Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to perform physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs, repetitive tasks)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of road safety and defensive driving

- Stoney Creek, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
