Position Summary
Project Supervisors lead the Health Care Construction Rebuild Team and work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Leveraging their expertise in construction and restoration, strong organizational skills, and results-driven mindset, Project Supervisors play a critical role in the successful execution of healthcare projects and contribute significantly to On Side’s overall success.

What You’ll Do
- Overseeing rebuild/restoration projects in hospitals and other healthcare facilities
- Dealing with permits and city representatives on healthcare projects
- Collaborating with Project Managers and facility personnel to organize and execute scope of work
- Working within a budget to get a job done
- Leadership and coaching rebuild team
- Health & Safety on jobs sites
- Leading large teams on site (sometimes multiple sites) including in-house staff, sub-trades while collaborating with other tradespeople, vendors, clients, and environmental consultants to achieve outcomes
- Responsibility for team schedule
- Monitor and maintain schedules, communicating with stakeholders regularly to ensure customer satisfaction
- Documentation of site visits and job progress
- Weekly Fleet Checks
- Site Safety Inspections
- Follow CSA standards for healthcare
What You Bring
- Construction/rebuild related experience (preferably within healthcare industries)
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of building materials and schedule of timeline to complete tasks
- Experience with negative air equipment
- Abatement knowledge and/or experience
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Leadership abilities and a preference for teamwork
- Superior communication skills: dealing with Project Managers, Stakeholders, healthcare personnel and employees
- Ability to work within a budget
- Previous experience using Word, Excel, and ability to learn various computer programs and applications
- Tech savvy, ability to document and upload work progress
- Valid driver’s licence and a clean criminal record (we do check)
- CSA Infection control certification (an asset)
