Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and certified 310S Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. A strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose vehicle problems using computerized diagnostic equipment and manual inspection.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, drivetrains, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and HVAC.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and fluid checks.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines set by the shop and regulatory bodies.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and other technicians regarding repair status and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician Certificate of Qualification (Ontario).
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Assets:
- Experience with a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
- Knowledge of electronic diagnostic tools and modern shop software.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
