Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team, providing expert maintenance and repair services for a variety of HVAC, Furnace, AC and Heat Pumps an Asset.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Furnace/AC repair, Gas Code knowledge, and experience with hand tools and power tools. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing technical skills to ensure customer satisfaction and HVAC safety.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on HVAC using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct routine maintenance
- Utilize assembly, and mechanical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and working with heavy equipment or parts
- Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings effectively to customers
- Assist in the training of junior technicians when necessary
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and manufacturer specifications
Skills
- Heat Pump experience is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge are essential
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques
- Experience in HVAC repair and Service work is required
- Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to address client concerns professionally
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various mechanical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
