Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure our spaces remain pristine and well-maintained. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Conduct commercial cleaning duties such as window washing, and other floor cleaning.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks like, restocking supplies, and reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are well-organized, properly maintained, and used safely at all times.
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives to uphold high standards of hygiene throughout the facility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within commercial or institutional settings.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and facilities maintenance procedures.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving supplies or equipment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude dedicated to supporting a clean and safe environment.
