Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in plumbing systems, HVAC, and related trades. This role involves installing cast iron and stainles steel plumbing system at delta bessborogh Saskatoon . During of this job be 1.5 to 2 years. The successful applicant will demonstrate expertise in blueprint reading, schematics, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Responsibilities
- Install plumbing systems according to project specifications and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction, maintenance, or repair work
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks involving carpentry, welding, or other trades as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Assist with troubleshooting HVAC systems when necessary, applying mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Plumber certification or license
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance within construction or industrial settings
- Strong mechanical knowledge including HVAC systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of construction practices including carpentry and assembly techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Commitment to safety standards and regulations throughout all phases of work
