Surveyor (Civil / Pipeline / Site Development)

About the Role
We’re hiring a Surveyor for civil construction work focused on water, sewer, storm, and subdivision development.
This is a field-based role, working directly on active job sites. You’ll be laying out pipe, manholes, roads, and grades for full site development projects—everything from raw land to build-ready lots. You’ll be working outside daily with pipe crews and operators, helping keep construction accurate and on grade.
Pay & Schedule
- $38.00–$40.00/hour (negotiable)
- 40–55 hours/week
- Day shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Overtime available
- Full-time, permanent
What You’ll Do
- Layout for water, sewer, and storm systems
- Set grades for pipe, manholes, and roadwork
- Work on subdivision and site development projects
- Use Trimble GPS and total station equipment
- Read civil drawings and plans
- Work directly with site crews in the field
- Assist with grade checks and as-built data
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years surveying experience preferred (civil/pipeline ideal)
- Experience with construction layout (pipe, grading, subdivisions)
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Solid understanding of grades and civil drawings
- Strong junior candidates with field experience may be considered

- AutoCAD / CAD
- MS Excel
Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence
- Steel-toed boots
