What You'll Do
Working alongside our Real Estate team, you will play an important role in helping transactions move smoothly from opening to closing.
Responsibilities include:
- Opening, organizing, and maintaining client files
- Preparing correspondence and legal documents
- Communicating with clients, lenders, realtors, and other third parties
- Managing calendars, appointments, and important deadlines
- Assisting with residential and commercial real estate transactions
- Conducting conflict checks and file opening procedures
- Maintaining accurate file records and electronic databases
- Providing administrative and clerical support to lawyers and paralegals
- Supporting the team in delivering exceptional client service
- Learning new processes and contributing positively to a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications
- Legal Assistant or Paralegal Certificate/Diploma
- 1 year of experience in a law firm or professional office environment
- Experience in real estate, litigation, collections, or other legal practice areas is considered an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with LEAP, Unity, or other legal practice management software is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
