About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Architect/Architectural Intern to join our client's growing team in Winnipeg. The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of architectural design and project delivery, working collaboratively with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders on a variety of commercial, residential, and/or institutional projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support architectural design from concept through construction
- Prepare design development and construction documents
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with Manitoba Building Code, zoning bylaws, and applicable regulations
- Participate in client meetings and presentations
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals
- Conduct site visits and provide contract administration support
- Manage multiple projects while meeting schedules and budgets
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Registered Architect in Manitoba (or eligible for registration)
- 3+ years of professional architectural experience (experience level may vary)
- Strong working knowledge of Revit (required); AutoCAD experience is an asset
- Familiarity with local codes, permitting, and construction practices in Manitoba
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
