Position: Piano Instructor (In-Person)
Location: Markham, Ontario
Program Start: September 2026 – June 2027 (Contract, with possible extension)
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Piano Instructor to teach in-person at our Markham centre.
- Program: Piano (All Ages)
- Class Time: Saturdays and weekdays
- Location: In-person at our centre (Warden & 14th Ave, Markham)
Qualifications & Requirements:
- RCM-certified (Royal Conservatory of Music) with 3+ years of successful teaching experience
- Able to develop your own teaching material
- Positive, enthusiastic, and responsible attitude
- Experience working with students of diverse ages and learning abilities
- Strong communication skills; able to engage and motivate students
- A reliable team player with flexibility to adapt to new ideas and teaching methods
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging piano lessons aligned with students' levels
- Assess individual student needs and tailor instruction accordingly
- Track student progress and communicate updates with parents
- Maintain a positive and professional learning environment
- Be punctual and well-prepared for every session
