- Proven Mathematical, Mechanical, Measurement and Blueprint reading skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Set up furnace infeed backstop and Load parts on to furnace walking beams.
- Set up and operate all presses and heuser in the rolling mill department and or classification to make parts to specification.
- Fulfills set up preparation of dies, auxiliary press tooling, heuser tooling, gauges, stamps, and job package as per setup sheets.
- Create or edit new or existing recipes.
- Set up Press locating bar lengths, widths and depths and change dies. Draw ram length, width, and change edge rolls and / or adjusts width.
- Adjusts furnace temperatures to produce product to Set up sheets.
- Enter mill programs and zero encoders as required.
- Load robot recipes and adjusts offsets if required.
- Assist in work roll changes
- Start mill, furnace, robots and presses for automatic operation.
- Inspection of raw material or finished product visually or by measurement for variation from specified quality standards.
- Follow Control Plan and all applicable tagging and NCR systems as required.
- Record production and downtime on forms.
- Fulfill 5S and Safety requirements for work cell.
- Perform and record daily TPM activities
- Maintain inventory accuracy through QAD.
- Perform minor maintenance and assists maintenance in repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance routines and assist maintenance as required
- Hot and dirty work environment. Heavy lifting, parts can range between 40lbs-100lbs.
EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
- Straight shifts, no rotation. Shift will be afternoon (3:00pm-11:00pm) or night shift (11:00pm - 7:00am). Shifts are 8 hours plus overtime opportunities.
- Overtime may be required, as per the collective agreement.
- Starting wage is $1.50 lower than top rate. A gradual increase of .50 will be given at 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months. Top rate at only 9 months.
- There is a shift premium of 1.05 for afternoon shift and 1.10 per hour for night shift.
- Two weeks vacation after one year of service. One day of vacation will be granted for each month of service completed for the first year.

- Probationary period of 520 working hours and 3 months of service.
- This is a unionized environment. Employment is bound by the collective agreement.
