Join our team as our next IT Support Specialist. The successful candidate will possess an excellent understanding of networking, software and hardware systems, and related technologies.
This role supports LIV Design Studio team and our sister company for our day-to-day technology needs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing hands-on support for hardware and software installations, configurations, and updates
- Troubleshoot hardware, application, and network-related issues
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various IT systems
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IT security measures and protocols
- Work with core networking technologies, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Wireless Access Points, Switching, VPNs, and Firewalls
- Support Hyper-V Virtualization, Backups, and Disaster Recovery
- Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange and SharePoint
- Manage NAS devices and RAID configurations
- Detect, respond to, and escalate security incidents
- Develop and maintain IT policies, SOPs, knowledge base, and end-user training materials
- Oversee end-to-end device lifecycle management, including tracking, procurement, vendor coordination, and license management
- Conduct ad-hoc tasks to support ongoing IT projects
- Collaborate with internal and external teams as needed to gather requirements and assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware
What You Bring to Us:
- Certificate / Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field with 2-3 years of hands-on experience. CompTIA or Microsoft certifications is a plus
- Ability to automate patching, Backups and on-boarding procedures.
- Working expertise in network and security solutions
- Experience detecting and responding to security incidents such as malware, phishing, account compromise, and network anomalies
- Team player with strong interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills
- Ability to manage changing priorities
- The ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to plan and prioritize your workload without supervision
- Experience creating and updating SOPs and knowledge base documentation
Bonus:
- Working expertise in AutoDesk Products, Panasonic VoIP, PowerShell, Cpanel and familiarity with Chaos V-ray
- Has a security-oriented mindset and is interested in security testing
- Experience supporting Render farms
