Job Overview
We are seeking versatile and skilled professionals to fill multiple roles including Welder/Brake Operator, Fabricator, Machinist, Part-Time Office Administrator, Yard Person, and Delivery Person. Duties
- Operate welding equipment such as MIG , TIG and stick welders to fabricate and repair metal components
- Kieson is CWB certified - having valid welding tickets are an asset and preferred, but not required.
- Use plasma cutting and press brake machines for precise metal shaping and fabrication.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication.
- Looking for an individual that has experience in MasterCam, Solidworks and Steel Solutions.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to perform machining and assembly tasks.
- Perform rigging operations involving cranes or forklifts to move heavy materials safely within the yard or worksite.
- Conduct basic machining operations on equipment such as lathes or mills as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the shop yard and fabrication areas.
- Deliver materials or finished products to designated locations safely and efficiently as a yard/delivery person.
- Requirements
- Proven experience with welding techniques including MIG and TIG welding.
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, machining, rigging, and construction processes.
- Ability to operate machinery such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, cranes, forklifts, and hand/power tools.
- Strong blueprint reading skills along with familiarity with schematics for manufacturing or ductwork projects.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding, machining, rigging, and material handling.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and work in physically demanding environments.
- Valid certification or experience in crane operation or forklift driving is preferred but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to perform multiple roles within the organization depending on project needs. Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
