Girard Tirecraft is looking for a skilled Journeyman Automotive Service Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, can diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently, and wants to be part of a busy, team-focused shop.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and service passenger vehicles and light trucks
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
- Complete brake, suspension, steering, alignment, and general repair work
- Use diagnostic tools and follow proper repair procedures
- Maintain accurate work orders and communicate repair recommendations clearly
- Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work with the service team to ensure customers receive quality service
Requirements
- Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Experience with general automotive repairs and maintenance
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication skills
