Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Barburrito Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing drinks, serving customers, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with strong multitasking abilities and a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cash handling
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and upselling menu items when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and presentation
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple customers efficiently
- Handle cash transactions accurately while providing friendly service
- Support team members to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or bartending roles preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Prior kitchen or food handling experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
