Flashback Breakfast & Lunch is a busy, retro-style breakfast & lunch restaurant in Angus, Ontario. We are a fast-paced and growing establishment looking for a part-time Food & Beverages Server to join our team
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established standards and safety guidelines
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service equipment
- Assist with setting up dining areas for service and cleaning up after meals
- Follow all food safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and smooth operations
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, including breakfast restaurant.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards
- Ability to serve efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic food industry knowledge including serving techniques and food safety protocols
- Friendly attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
