Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate orders for food and drinks using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, following all safety and quality standards.
- Serve food items promptly and attentively, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food handling safety protocols.
- Manage cash handling transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and providing correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, bar, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, address inquiries, and resolve any issues promptly.
- Assist in opening or closing duties as needed, including inventory checks and restocking supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and order calculations.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Hospitality background is a plus; previous experience in the food industry is highly valued.
