Senior Account Executive — Commission (Audio & Radio) — Goderich (Country 104.9)
The opportunity We have a rare opening in Goderich for a high-energy, Senior Account Executive to help local businesses grow and drive local advertising revenue for Country 104.9. This role focuses on developing and maintaining direct client relationships and selling integrated radio and audio advertising solutions that deliver measurable results.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect, cold-call, and develop new local business opportunities; manage and grow existing client relationships.
- Present and sell radio/audio advertising proposals tailored to client objectives.
- Deliver outstanding client service—“super serve” accounts with integrity, professionalism, and responsiveness.
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets; collaborate with other stations and internal teams to maximize client value.
- Coordinate with Sales Assistants, Production, Promotions, Programming, Traffic, Creative and Digital teams to deliver campaigns.
- Manage time, priorities, and pipelines effectively; maintain accurate records and reports.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years sales experience, preferably in Media, Radio, advertising, or related fields.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a commission-only role.
- Basic understanding of radio broadcasting, media advertising, and digital marketing is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving abstract, and dependable vehicle.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, high-energy, and enthusiastic.

Compensation & location
