Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Aid to join our healthcare team. This role provides vital support in patient care and assists medical professionals in delivering high-quality services. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care activities, including preparing examination rooms and supporting procedures
- Manage and operate computer systems for patient records and documentation using OSCAR and/or ACCURO EMR systems
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and clinical data with strong attention to detail
- Organize and prioritize tasks efficiently to ensure timely delivery of patient services
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and ensuring a comfortable environment
- Adhere to infection control protocols and assist with maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment
Skills
- Proficiency in OSCAR EMR and ACCURO EMR
- Must have completed and passed NAC OSCE & MCCQE1
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of medical terminology, acute care procedures, and medical fundamentals
- Strong organizational skills with effective time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members
- Demonstrated customer service orientation with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
