Delivery Driver
Job Summary
- This position is under the direction of the Warehouse Manager of our Fort St John location. You will work Monday to Friday, eight (8) hours per day, plus the occasional Saturday for six (6) hours. The employee will primarily be responsible for proper handling and securing loads for delivery, in and around the Fort St John area, in accordance with established safety requirements. This role will need to complete pre-trip inspections on delivery vehicle and appropriate paperwork for delivery slips and invoices. This position requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent and ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Due to insurance restrictions applicant must have Minimum of a Class 7N driver’s license with 1 year clean driving experience.

Job Duties
- Proper handling and securing loads in accordance with established safety requirements.
- Prepare appropriate paperwork for shipping, delivery slips and invoices.
- Resolve any cases of missing documentation, shipments, or deliveries.
- Adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times.
- Manually load and unload materials from pallets and skids. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift including pre-trip forms, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, and hours of service, following applicable provincial and federal regulations.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Class 5 drivers license, or class 7N with minimum of 1 year clean driving experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
- Highly motivated.
