Job Summary
Position entails educating, setting up & fitting clients with CPAP devices.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Monitor clients progress, evaluate effectiveness of CPAP and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team
- Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families as it relates to service provided
- Greeting and admitting clients for the CPAP division
- Completion of client files including all follow-up calls, monitoring and corresponding charting.
- Phone reception and routing telephone calls
- Relief for other divisions if required
- Reporting to administrators and management.
- Booking client appointments.
- Client education for CPAP therapy and related tests.
- Processing sales and service for CPAP equipment and services
- Fitting Clients with masks and equipment.
- Perform equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Receive ship and put away orders of stock.
- Training of future staff.
- Ordering stock.
Qualifications and Skills
Credentials
- Licensure by the appropriate province or territory of work;
- Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination;
- Basic cardiac life support (BCLS); Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
