Job Overview
In this role, we are looking for hard-working and reliable individuals to join our team. This is a hands-on, physical role that requires individuals who are comfortable working at heights. Duties include but are not limited to: gutter cleaning and/or repairs, ivy/vine removal and installation of eavestroughs, downspouts, and leaf guards. Responsibilities
- Safely remove debris, leaves, and dirt from eavestroughs using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper water flow.
- Install new eavestrough systems on residential or commercial buildings, following technical specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of existing eavestroughs to identify damage or blockages requiring maintenance or repair.
- Use facilities maintenance skills to repair or replace damaged sections of eavestroughs, ensuring secure fittings and proper alignment.
- Clean work sites thoroughly after completing installations or repairs, adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain work performed, answer questions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Experience with hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, and wrenches; familiarity with power tools is a plus.
- Prior experience in this field
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling ladders, equipment, or materials.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to working at heights and outdoor environments.
- A valid Ontario driver's license
- Working at heights certification
