The team at Granby Meats is looking for another member in our exiting enterprise here in the core of Grand Forks at 222A 72nd Ave. We provide the traditional experience of buying meat from your local butcher in an open and bright retail space along with the extras for the ambitious at home cook, including spices, rubs, bbq equipment, knives, mixes and treats.
The successful proponent will join the GMCo team serving each other, every customer and ultimately the community by doing our best at every task and every interaction. You will be backed by the ownership team and their network of supporters, getting to know them firsthand and being part of the excitement and diligence of providing top quality meat for the people of our community. We are looking for someone who wants to know our products, connect with our customers, and enjoy the time they spend with the team. The proponent will have the discipline to work diligently and with focus, developing their skills and becoming effective at running the equipment, working with the products, and serving the customers. Potential tasks: Retail cash at till, sandwich prep, wrapping, meat/cheese slicing, receiving, product display, shelving, inventory tracking, equipment cleanup, general cleaning.
Position and Hours: Part time, Tuesday to Saturday, 4-6 hours on working days, between 8 am and 6 pm, with paid vacation time. We offer flexibility in hours as part of the integrated team.
Timeframe: The position is available immediately with an initial probationary period of three months.
Pay: $18.25-$24.00 per hour
