Golf Shop Associate

Responsibilities

· Independently manage tee time check-ins, point-of-sale transactions, and daily golf shop operations

· Handle phone and email communication professionally, including bookings, inquiries, and general guest support

· Maintain merchandising standards throughout the golf shop (folding, restocking, sizing, presentation, and inventory counts)

· Demonstrate strong product knowledge of current inventory to assist guests with purchases and recommendations

· Complete daily cleaning duties to ensure the golf shop and shared spaces remain clean, organized, and presentable

· Support the golf operations team as needed to ensure smooth daily flow and an exceptional guest experience

· Assist with opening and closing procedures and uphold operational standards when working independently

· Accurately handle cash, credit, gift cards, and daily POS balancing

· Remain calm, professional, and solution-focused when handling guest concerns or complaints

· Perform light lifting (boxes, merchandising, restocking) and stand for extended periods

Qualifications / Assets

· Previous golf shop experience is an asset but not required

· Hospitality or customer service experience

· Enthusiastic, people-oriented attitude

· Strong interpersonal and hospitality skills

· Professional appearance and presentation

· Basic computer skills (POS systems, booking platforms, email)

· Strong multitasking and organizational skills

· Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and early mornings or evenings

· Comfortable working independently as the sole staff member during quieter periods
