Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all visitors. Prior experience in cleaning or custodial services, especially within hotels or hospitality environments, is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities such as towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a spotless environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures at all times
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and stored properly
- Maintain a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with guests and team members
Experience
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience is preferred, especially within hotels or hospitality settings
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques is a plus
- Experience with hotel housekeeping procedures will be considered an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment is beneficial
