Racing Forensics is hiring Animal Health Technicians for equine venipuncture at Assiniboia Downs and other racetracks across Canada.
Shifts at Assiniboia Downs are on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from May – October. Shifts start in the afternoon and end in the late evening.
Training will be provided. Excellent compensation.
Duties
- Collect blood samples from horses and/or administer IV medication
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure chain-of-custody of samples
- Complete official documentation and records
Skills/Experience
- Registered Veterinary Technicians
- Experience working with horses
- Proficient in phlebotomy
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
