Overview
GradsBC Photography is a fast-growing school photography and graduation services company with a strong reputation across British Columbia. We’re launching a new media division, North Focus Media, and we’re looking for a driven Account Manager to help us grow both sides of the business. If you love building relationships, closing deals, and being rewarded when you do, this role is for you.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to step into a field sales role with an established client base and real earning upside. You’ll spend 60% of your time managing and growing school and grad accounts for GradsBC Photography, and 40% building a new corporate client base for North Focus Media across corporate, hospitality, law, and sports/entertainment sectors. The commission structure is designed to compound — accounts you win in Year 1 keep paying for as long as you retain them.
What You’ll Be Doing
GradsBC Photography (60%)
- Prospect and qualify new K–12 school accounts, focusing on principals, VPs, and administrators
- Conduct discovery meetings and present GradsBC’s photography and grad services
- Build multi-year contract proposals and close new business
- Maintain and grow existing school accounts; support pre-checks and grad participation campaigns
- Identify and sell incremental services such as events, buddy pictures, and drone photography
North Focus Media (40%)
- Identify and prospect SME clients in corporate, hospitality, law, and sports/entertainment
- Present North Focus Media’s full-service photo and video production capabilities
- Develop project and retainer proposals; negotiate and close contracts
- Collaborate with the production team on seamless project handoffs
Both Divisions
- Log all prospect and client activity in the CRM and keep records current weekly
- Provide regular pipeline updates and performance reporting to management
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development
- Strong prospecting skills and comfort meeting with school administrators and business decision-makers
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a pipeline across two divisions
- Comfortable with CRM tools and consistent with keeping records current
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
- Background in photography, media, or education sectors is an asset but not required
